ACRexcellencesealThe VRI Samaritan Breast Center has been awarded the distinguished designation of Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). By awarding facilities the status of a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, the ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in all of the College’s voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program.

We believe this designation exemplifies our commitment to help San Jose area women with their breast imaging needs. As of November 10, 2014 VRI Samaritan Breast Center is the only medical imaging center in San Jose designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the ACR.

  • Quality assurance programs

The ACR, headquartered in Reston, Va., is a national organization serving more than 32,000 members committed to facilitating radiology’s ability to improve patient outcomes.
